The other kind - the continual improvement group - are those who are constantly looking for a better way to get things done. They measure their progress. They read books they agree with and sources with whom they disagree. They are always alert for strategies and thoughts that coalesce life into meaning. They are the doers.
Can you take a slacker and turn him into a doer? I don't know. I doubt it. Too many times in the workplace I've seen the slackers try to tear down the doers.
My point is to surround yourself with doers who push one anther toward excellence, and to continue to seek improvement in your life.
