I work closely with our .Net application programmer in Mumbai and I've come to highly respect his skill and insight. He's smart, gets the code done well and quickly, has a great attitude, and is fun to chat with on Skype. But one of his traits that I most admire is that when he sees that our current design or my database code could be improved, he'll say, "Sir, I have a doubt."
I've been told that the culture in India does not promote disagreeing with the boss, but he respectfully and appropriately speaks up with his ideas and criticism. So this blog post is simply a shout out to him and to say, "Whenever you have a doubt it always leads to improvement, so keep doubting my friend."
